1959 Ideal Patti Play Pal Doll with pinstriped dress, organdy pinafore, panties, socks and shoes. Also has a copy of the original hangtag. She is 35" tall, the size of a three-year-old child. THIS IS NOT AN ASHTON DRAKE REPRODUCTION, THIS IS AN ORIGINAL FROM 1959. This doll would be stunning in your collection! I bought the doll in 1998 and she has been stored in a pet-free, smoke-free home. I have included photos from different angles to give you a better idea of condition. I have never undressed the doll, but have no reason to believe her torso or covered extremities are damaged. I will not undress the doll, as her outfit and shoes could become damaged due to its age. Her strawberry reddish-blond hair is soft and I don't see any missing plus or evidence of a haircut. Her green eyes open and close easily and do not appear cloudy. She has all of her eyelashes and her face paint looks really good for her age and the assumption that she was played with at one time before becoming a collectible. Her pinafore has a few small holes, but does not take away from the overall beauty of this doll. She is marked Ideal 1959 on her neck. Her head is not as tight as it could be, but as you can see from the photos she holds her head up independently. I believe the dress, pinafore and shoes are original, not sure about panties and socks. At one time, I had a massive doll collection, but have sold most of my other dolls. The dolls I have left will be listed and sold on Ebay as well. I want her to go to a home with a new owner who will love and enjoy her as much as I have.
