Description

1960 Chevrolet service and U.S. government/civics poster. 1960 election. Folded poster outling electoral college, president's cabinet, other facts on one side -- and Chevrolet "guardian" scheduled maintenance on the other. Chevy dealer item mailed to customers, including the seller's great uncle in Belton, Missouri, a Kansas City suburb. He had his 1953 Chevy serviced at Fleetwood Chevrolet in Belton, named in the ad. Colorful ad promotes lubrication and oil changes every 1-2,000 miles, etc. Excellent art work includes an Impala on the rack and the back end of a new Corvair. "Summer travel maintenance is your key to confidence." Hard-to-find Chevrolet advertising material. Excellent period art work, typical of car makers then. The civics poster was also a common (and saved!) item for an election year. These were effective advertisements. Item is folded in four quarters, just as it was mailed. It has a crease along a vertical fold. Otherwise it is clean and intact. White Post-it tape covers the mailing address for security in the photo. Buyer will be able to remove it easily. PayPal preferred. USPS shipping to U.S. address only. No international shipping.
