Description

This is the original 1974 flyer map for a Come and Greet for President Richard Nixon on Wednesday, April 10. 1974. Nixon wanted to get away from Watergate that was developing at that time. Nixon was campaigning for Spaulding who was running for congress, Nixon made stops in the "Thumb" of Michigan at Bad Axe, Cass City, and Sandusky Michigan with a short stop in each town. Map of Presidential Motorcade is on the flyer. Interesting side note. At bottom it reads Republican National Committee, George Bush, Chairman-the future President. Measures 11 by 8 inches.
