It contains regular issues from the 1989 to 1994 rate period Scott 2431 to 2531A . All stamps have tagging and are mixture of water-activated gum and self-adhesive gum. The USPS has a proud history of using the United States flag on stamps as a theme for First Class postage. This set features Eagle & Shield, Flag & Mt. Rushmore, Flag & Olympic Rings, Fishing Boats, Hot Air Balloon Flags and Liberty Torch. The specific catalogue numbers of these stamps are: 2431, 2443, 2523, 2523A, 2528, 2529, 2529C, 2530, 2531 and 2531A. This mini group of stamps was never officially released as a set. They were issued during the same time as the 4th Transportation series to service first class and postcard mail. Twenty nine cents met the rate for 1 oz from Feb. 1991 to Jan. 1995. Nineteen cents covered the Post Card rate for the same period. All stamps are bright and clean and problem free guaranteed. The set may include minor number substitution.
