This does not interfere with the zipper; I have tried a few times to test it. You can fit makeup and brushes into this bag and use it on the go when needed; it can even be used for travel. This was left behind after a relative moved out of the house, and she said I could have it. I have no use for it, and I want it to go to a new home where it will be used much more than I will.
