GK-Q896-POE-NFC 7″ Android Panel PC with PoE NFC for employee time & attendance The 7″ Android POE device can be wall-mountable or desk Mountable design and is button-less in design (i.e. does not have any external buttons). Various mounting options exist including in-wall flush, on-wall and desktop mounting ability. The unit is available in white or black colors. The 7″ Android POE device supports both PoE and RJ45. In establishments where there is no PoE cabability, you can connect the unit to a network switch via RJ45 cable for wired connector or WIFI. The unit supports RJ45 (Ethernet LAN interface) with a DC In 9V-30V. PoE support is 48V and is fully complaint with 802.3 af standard 15.4W. This is ideal for installations that have PoE capable switches where a PoE Cat 5 cables can be directly drawn to the unit. This mitigates the need for locating the unit near a power outlet. The unit can be operated on a continuous 24×7 basis. The 7″ Android POE device has built-in support for Mifare (MF1 IC S50 ISO/IEC 14443A) NFC / RFID card reader for reading RFID/NFC cards. This feature enables it to be used for applications such as POS or Time & attendance applications. A demo app and src code is provided for OEMs that wish to integrate the NFC capability into their apps. An optional external fingerprint scanner is also supported by the tablet. OEMs can develop applications by integrating biometric capability into their applications. Powered by the powerful 1.2GHz ARM Cortex Dual Core processor, this tablet is designed to give you high performance with long shelf life and is designed to operate on a 24×7 basis. The unit has 2GB RAM and 4 GB ROM extensible upto 32 GB of storage with MicroSD.
