Two amplifiers power the woofer and tweeter individually; the 5” woofer draws its power from a 50 watt Class D amp, while the U-ART tweeter is powered by a cleaner 20 W Class D amp. The U-ART tweeter uses the same High-Frequency Waveguide dispersion-control used in Adam Audio’s flagship S-Series Monitors, setting the T5V apart from any other monitor in its price range. The use of HPS in the tweeters offers the user a wider sweet spot and increased focus in the mixing position. A carefully designed bevel in the cabinet and a rear-firing bass reflex port help control the bass build up even in the smallest control rooms. The single 5” woofer provides an excellent transient response in the mid-range, but if you need more low end, try pairing the T5V with an Adam Sub8 subwoofer, which will extend your monitoring capabilities all the way down to the lowest sub frequencies. Built in DSP driver crossovers and EQ help make the T5V sound just right in any size control room.
