Antique Lily 6” berry/sugar spoon with “G” monogram by the Whiting Division of Gorham Sterling Silver Company. Produced by the Whiting Manufacturing Company between 1900-1940. Actual vintage of this spoon is unknown. Makers mark is impressed/stamped behind the base of the spoon handle but is indecipherable. “PAT APP FOR” and the word “STERLING” also appear here. These details would determine production date and possibly other pertinent information. Very impressive antique ornate spoon. Measures 6” long, 2” wide and 1 1/4” tall at the spoon. Weighs 42 grams.
