Description
Blue & White Wall Plate Nuremberg Henkersteg Germany 12”. The back simply says Made in Germany. The front says Nurnberg Henkersteg and includes a bridge, tower, waterwheel, a tower and a Fachwerkhaus or half timber house. Front is in Excellent condition. There are raised dots on one of the windows of the building on the left. The raised dots are under the coloring and glazing so this was done during the manufacturing process. There are a few more raised dots under the bridge arch in the center too. The back shows crazing as pictured as well as a few small rough, different colored, raised spots that are under the glazing as well. There is one tiny fleabite chip on the back of the center foot of the plate as shown. The white area has the slight light blue tinge as items of this era and style had. I will pack this very carefully to ensure it arrives in one piece. Please review all photos carefully. Lot # 2027
