We don't mean "Never Used But Beat Up And Shopworn". This knife for auction is a 1996 issue Case Special Factory Order Celebration W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Celebration Event Canoe, 3 5/8" closed, featuring Case's Smooth Natural Bone (cattle bone) handles and nickel silver bolsters. This Case Special Factory Order Canoe was issued in a quantity of 500 pieces, and sold at the annual Shepherd Hills Celebration In The Ozarks event held on September 14th, 1996. This Case SFO Canoe is factory embellished on the front side handle with W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Celebration 1996 and the front side pocket end bolster is serial numbered with #306. The rear side handle is laser embellished with the signature of W.R. Case & Sons President George Brinkley and reads "George T. Brinkley President and Chief Operating Officer W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company" and "1 of 500". This Case Celebration Canoe is stamped on the front tang of the master Spear blade with Case XX USA and 4 Dots, dating this as a 1996 issue Case knife, while the rear tang of the small Spear blade is pattern stamped with 62131 SS.
