Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering some fine knives for auction from a Case Knife Collection acquisition out of Austin, Texas. I have only seen 3 and this is # 3! Plain Spey blade as opposed to the standard Serrated on this model! The collector we purchased the knife from had 2 of these and this is the final one I have!! This knife for auction is a 1999 issue Case Outdoor Series Rosewood Trapper , 4 1/8" closed, with the beautiful grained Rosewood handles and the nickel silver Case XX Diamond shield. This Case Rosewood Trapper was a member of Case's Outdoor Series, thus the "Tent" outline design on the shield. The way Case XX is stamped on the shield, makes that "Tent" outline. The master Clip blade is stamped on the front tang with Case XX USA with 1 Dot, dating this as a 1999 issue Case knife, while the front tang of the RARE PLAIN SPEY blade is pattern stamped with 7254 SS.
