Natural and untreated rough ruby crystal from Cowee Valley, North Carolina. This ruby was prospected back in the 90’s and then sold to me by the original prospector in 2002. This ruby was prospected completely legally and ethically. This natural ruby rough crystal has a darker saturated red color which will lighten into a more vivid lip stick to blood red color when polished. The clarity of this rough ruby crystal is translucent. Measures 8x6x6 MM, with a weight of 2.75 carats. This ruby rough is solid ruby crystal and does not include any matrix or host rock. It is naturally colored and has not been died or enhanced in any way.
