USER'S GUIDANCE This Pump is Non-submersible Only Be Used With Fresh Water Do Not Run Pump Dry The pump must be filled with water through the inlet before operation to aviod running the pump dry. The max vertical suction depth down to thewater source is 3ft , the outlet hose should nolonger than 25 ft . INSTALL ATION AND OPERATION PLACE THE PUMP on a stable surface. The pump should be less than 10' above and less than 10' to one side of the water source. TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF THE INTERNAL IMPELL Oil the pump with 1/2 tablespoon food grade vegetable oil or mineral oil with each use. Pour the oil in to the water inlet port. DO NOT RUN THE PUMP DRY! CONNECT THE HOSES (1/2” diameter reinforced hose or larger) For best operation the pump by flling the inlet hose with water and put the open end of the hose in the water you wish to pump. With a washer installed attach it to the inlet side of the pump. If this joint leaks air, the pump will not operate. Make the outlet hose as short as possible - 25' or less. INLET HOSE GOES IN THE WATER; OUTLET HOSE STAYS OUT OF THE WATER. MOTOR MUST STAY DRY . Make sure all inlet connections are tight (no air/water leaks) and the inlet hose is in the water.
