Dagon Character Jug, Staffordshire Height 4.5" c.1780 In beautiful Antique condition with no chips or cracks. Many of the white areas are where the jug hasn't been filled in with paint though it has the look of being damaged in pictures . Dragon character jug produced in Staffordshire circa 1775. Dagon was the Northwest Semitic god of fishing and an important god of the Canaanites.
