VertuoPlus Deluxe uses 2 different capsule sizes - a large capsule for coffee and a small 1 for espresso. Centrifusion, a patented extraction technology developed by Nespresso, recognizes each Grand Cru blend thanks to a barcode on the rim of the capsule. The brewing parameters are read and adjusted by the machine with no need for you to change the settings. Originally contacted by seller to notify me that the product was damaged and would I wish to wait for restocked damper (with an added discount!) or cancel. I asked a quick question and a prompt answer sent. A new, undamaged damper arrived and installed without a problem.
