The 1969 C hristmas stamps feature winter Sunday in Norway Maine. Adding the precancellation was another experiment to speed up the mail but only 4 cities participated. The city names were overprinted locally on tagged stamps and are Atlanta, Baltimore, Memphis and New Haven .
