As its name suggests, this model is designed for faster and more comfortable playability. It features the same offset (asymmetrical) body shape as the Jazzmaster, a compact 24-inch scale neck, and a “floating tremolo” system known for its smooth action. The fingerboard showcases the premium "bound and block position" design, typical of mid-to-late ’60s models, paired with elegant "F-style tuners." The “matching head” finish, where the body and headstock are painted in the same color, is coated with a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, enhancing its vintage aesthetic. The specially designed flat pole piece pickups deliver a delicate vintage tone. The preset controls and low-cut switch offer versatile tone-shaping options, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles. There are some signs of use, including paint chips along the body edges, minor scratches, and tarnish on some parts. The frets have approximately 80% life remaining, and the neck and truss rod are in excellent condition. The hard case features a black tolex exterior and an embroidered 60th-anniversary logo on the interior, adding to its collectible value. Together with the custom neck plate, this model is a must-have for collectors.
