Description Among the many Custom Shop Stratocasters, the "1960" spec Stratocaster is one of the most popular models. This particular 3-Color Sunburst NOS finish '60 Stratocaster was made in 1999, as confirmed by the neck date and certificate of authenticity. This model, which features the sought-after fat sound of the era, comes with an alder body, maple neck, and a slab rosewood fingerboard—classic wood materials for the period. The neck grip is a moderate 60s-style C-shape with a 7.25-inch radius, vintage-style frets, and an 11-point screw pickguard, faithfully reproducing the specifications of a 1960 Strat. The electronics feature a 5-way switch (replacement), master volume, front tone, and center tone controls—another classic, straightforward setup. In terms of condition, there are noticeable signs of use, including dents, scratches, and some dulling of the finish and parts. The headstock also shows marks from clip-on tuners. However, there are no major visible damages that would significantly affect its aesthetics or playability, so the overall condition is decent. Parts replaced include the nut (cow bone), rubber for pickup height adjustment, and the switch was upgraded from the original 3-way to a more practical 5-way (the original 3-way switch is included). The frets are vintage-style and show some wear, but there is still about 60-70% fret height remaining, and there is no noticeable buzzing or dead spots during play. *Note: The back panel screws and tremolo arm are missing.
