Description Fender Japan ST72-86 DSC from the FujiGen Era (1994-1995) This Stratocaster model, made during the highly regarded FujiGen era of Fender Japan, was produced between 1994 and 1995 according to its serial number. It is a sought-after model, often associated with the iconic Yngwie Malmsteen style. The truss rod still has room for further adjustment. The frets are original, but they have been leveled a few times, leaving about 40-50% of the original fret height. The electronics have been cleaned and inspected, and there are no issues such as crackling or other malfunctions. The 5-way selector switch has been replaced due to a fault in the original selector. The string guides for the 3rd and 4th strings have been removed, and the setup reflects this change. There is a noticeable dent on the first fret near the high E string. The tremolo arm and backplate are missing.
