The neck shape and edges are also precisely measured to faithfully reproduce the characteristics of each era. The finish is also faithful to the original specifications, such as the bleaching of the fabric that was done at the time and the use of all-lacquer that uses lacquer from the undercoat. In 1964, the thick neck seen in the 50s and early 60s was replaced by a thinner "C-shape" with rounded edges. The rounded rosewood has slightly larger dot position marks, and the position mark at the 12th fret is slightly inward. Other features include a lightweight ash body, steel spiral saddles, and pickups that reflect the specs and sound of the time, perfectly recreating the '64 Telecaster. The condition shows some scratches and dents due to use, but the instrument is lightly used and there is no damage that would detract from its appearance.
