Description The guitar has undergone various modifications based on a 1979 Fender USA Stratocaster. It features a large headstock, a bullet nut, and a neck with a 2-string guide, and the serial number indicates it was made between 1978 and 1979. The tuning pegs are the F-key type, marked with "MADE IN W. GERMANY," which are late 1970s Shaller-made original parts. The body has been over-lacquered. The pickups have been updated, with two of them being from 1976. The date on the third pickup is difficult to read, but it is believed to also be from 1976. Two of the pots are dated 1979, while the third one cannot be read due to the solder, but the shape, material, serial format, and aging characteristics are consistent with all three. The capacitor is an Ovaltone -Nue- NUE DEVICE, which replicates the aging characteristics of vintage capacitors in the circuit. The bridge saddle is the die-cast type typical of this period, and the bridge itself, with an integrated base plate and tremolo block, matches the features of this era. The three knobs are the embossed type seen in the late 1970s and are original to this period. The pickup covers are not from recent production, showing significant aging, though the exact date has not been determined. The arm has been replaced, and the backplate is missing. The hard case appears to be from the late 1978 to 1979 period, consistent with the features of that era, and is judged to be an original case. The truss rod has been confirmed to have some remaining adjustment room.
