This highly advanced microscope was obtained from a pharmaceutical company in Connecticut who recently made upgrades to newer models in their labs. This specific microscope and accompanying equipment are all functional and recently used. This model was first installed in July of 2017. A majority of the necessary additional equipment are included. Additional equipment such as certain cables, monitors, computer, keyboard/controllers, and other auxiliary tools may be needed depending on the intended use. It is most well known for its high precision and versatility. It has both manual and automated features. Overview for the LEICA CTR 6000 Power supply Power supply unit designed for use with LEICA DM-series microscopes, including the DM6000 B and DM6000 M. This unit is responsible for providing power to the microscopes motorized components and managing its various automated functions. Overview for the PRIOR ProScan III Controller The compact and modular design of the ProScan® III system is capable of controlling up to 16 individual stepper motor axes including; a motorized stage, focus motor, three filter wheels and three shutters with the speed, accuracy and precision required by today’s highly automated and demanding applications. Overview for the Lumen Dynamics X-CITE 120Q Fluorescence Light The X-Cite® 120Q excitation light source uses a 120-watt lamp to deliver rich spectral excitation energy and uniform wide-field fluorescence microscope illumination to the sample plane. Overview for the LEICA Standard X-CITE Adaptor This adaptor is designed for Leica microscopes to collimate UV/VIS light coming out of standard 3mm Liquid Core Light guides (5mm metal sleeve). It will work with any Light Sources like manufactured by EXFO, X-Cite, Lumen Dynamics, Excelitas and others having numerical aperture of liquid light guides (LLG) at output.
