3 fixed shelves, Solid construction, built to last. 2ft wide , 3ft tall, 8in deep This is an extremely Rare and one of a kind work of art that is sure to draw an admiring glance from those that know Quality when they see it. This bookshelf is made of reclaimed pine wood lumber found in a drywash about 300' below an old abandoned mineshaft located somewhere the the middle of the Mohave Desert near the GRAND CANYON in Arizona. As found the wood was hard as a rock , twisted, warped, and dry as a bone; pretty much unworkable. To that I inwardly cried, "challenge accepted!" The result is truly unique. handcrafted and engraved with the captured lightening like expressions of high voltage when applied to a wooden surface coated with the appropriate electrolytic solution. The designs are intricately detailed Their placement beyond control. The voltages used are enough to kill a man. The high number of deaths associated with fractal woodburnings is Staggering. Arguably making it the most dangerous art form known to mankind. note..... the artist did not die during the creation of this item The bookcase is completely encased in a protective coating of UV Resistant epoxy resin making it basically hermetically sealed. the resin imparts a super thick high gloss finish that accentuates every minor detail. I built this Bookcase to last the ages. It is solid, durable and eye catching. It would be perfect for a log cabin, country kitchen, rustic man cave or colonial bedroom. My photography skills are poor at best. They do not adequately display how truly expressive my work is.
