ITEM: Icom IC 228H portable Ham Radio Transceiver with Tone Encoder. 2 Meter, FM/VHF. Tx 144-148 MHz, Rx 138-174 MHz. Comes with original DTMF microphone and mounting bracket. No power cord extension. Serial Number 07704. Owner's manual available online for free download through various sites. SIZE: Unit is approximately 5.5" x 6.3" x 2". Weighs 2 lbs 12 oz before packaging CONDITION: Powers up, receives and transmits. Activates a repeater and readout says DUP TONE, see video. Normal cosmetic wear with some scuffs/scratches. This unit was purchased as part of a large vintage electronics estate collection and has been in storage for years. We have tested this to the best of our abilities. WE ARE NOT HAM RADIO/CB EXPERTS, therefore, this unit has not been fully tested. The new owner may and could incur additional costs to get this unit in top working condition.
