Antiquarian Illustrated Rev. John Brown Family Bible, Circa mid 1800s This bible is a beautifully repaired text from Rev. John Brown, Illustrated with colour produced in the 1800s. The cover has the original brass trimmings, however the clasps are missing. As far as I can see this is a complete bible with no pages missing. This book contains a detailed map of the ancient world. This bible weighs 5.3 KG, it is 34cm tall, 27cm wide and 10 cm thick. Damage (See above photos for reference): Some pages are torn or bent awkwardly on the edges. Throughout this book there is scattered foxing. There is evidence of amateur repairs done with tape. Missing brass clasps that should connect the two covers. On the last page a child has drawn across the paper in pencil.
