It has one large 6 x 4 inch brass finial on the crest, with 4 additional surrounding brass finials. It measures a huge 40" inches high overall and 19 1/4 inches wide, having an incredible matching wall bracket. On the sides of the clock are 9 x 3 inch Solid Brass Cherub Plaques, and numerous other original heavy brass applications throughout the case. The case front has a wonderful brass arch top bezel and thick glass protecting its lavishly designed dial surround and the two subsidiary dials for chime/silent and fast/slow above the silvered roman numeral time dial. The solid plate eight day brass movement has quarter bim bam melodious gong chiming on the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and an hour strike on the hours.
