The Miele Classic C1 is specially designed for comfortable, ergonomic handling with a stainless steel telescopic suction wand, an ergonomic carrying handle, and caster wheels. Gentle-Start Motor Classic C1 Pure Suction is equipped with a gentle-start motor that goes easy on the power supply. The selected power level is ramped up slowly when Miele Vacuum Cleaner is switched on, protecting your electric mains from overload. Thermal Protection A built-in temperature limiter protects your vacuum cleaner from overheating. Sometimes when you are vacuuming up bulky particles the air passage is blocked. As a result the motor automatically shuts off as a safety precaution. Only after the cause of the shut-off has been eliminated and the appliance has cooled down, it is again ready for service. Practical Locking System The cleaner’s floorhead, suction tube, and handle lock into each other with an audible fit.
