Description
There's a bit of scuffing typical of a writing utensil that has been used. There are no deep marks, and I would think it'd polish up nicely. The eraser will need replacing soon, and lead is not included as I do not have any 0.7mm. But when I did, I tested the pencil and the advancing mechanism works perfectly fine. Looking at the last picture: The threads of the eraser housing/part of the advancing mechanism are (sharp) metal and go into plastic threads of the lower body. This causes some material to be removed from the plastic threads and a sort of grinding noise. That is what I think is happening. Possible solutions: lightly sanding the metal threads to dull them, installing some sort of metal threads over the plastic, or putting something like PFTE tape in between the two surfaces.
