Any person of a certain age (ahem) will likely remember many of these shows and would appreciate the collection as a remembrance of those bygone days! We purchased this item for our parents as a Christmas gift in 1999 to accompany a reproduction period Crosley radio (we know that the originals didn’t have cassette players built in). While they enjoyed the radio, once the plastic wrap came off of this item it just sat on a bookshelf in first their home and then our mothers after our father passed. The cassettes, sadly, were never played and have been closed up in the plastic case for the last 25 years. Also included are a booklet with detailed information about each radio program as well as the 1999-2000 Radio Spirits catalog. PLEASE NOTE : Despite the fact that this item has been in a non-smoking home for its entire life, the outside of the plastic case has discolored somewhat to a very light brown, perhaps just from exposure to the air and possibly to sunlight. Inside, though, the plastic case as well as the cassettes are pristine white and look brand new. It is due to this discoloration that we are selling this item as VERY GOOD and are pricing it accordingly. Photos included with this listing are of the actual item, not stock.
