Item was "as described" per writing and photographs. The item was extremely well-packaged and shipped promptly--arriving EARLY. From a price-versus-value standpoint, it was won according to fair auction competition and was required for spare parts needed for a similar bayonet. Due to lack of any German ordnance or regimental stamps (with manufacturer's mark only), this was PROBABLY an export item for South America.
