This is an original this is not a reprint. This is an original poster from the 1940s. I’m listing several posters all of these were found in a shipping tube that was dated for the 1950s. They are all authentic originals. This vintage Spain, travel poster for the tourism department travel poster features matadors and bullfighters in action, showcasing the rich culture of Spain. The piece measures 40 inches in height and 24 inches in width, and is signed by an unknown artist. this is one of 2 i have listed this one’s in near perfect condition no damages The poster is a single piece This colorful poster was created by the artist Antonio Casero and issued by The Spanish State Tourist Department in 1947. Casero’s depiction of a Spanish bullfighter here titled The “Fiesta de Toros” in SPAIN appears on a few different travel posters up to the 1960s but we believe this 1947 issue is one of the earliest. The lower margin indicates the poster was printed in Spain by Lit. Orla-Jerez and “47-419-5-421”. This poster has no tape or pinholes and doesn’t appear to have even been hung. This vintage original unbacked poster has a short tear without loss on the upper left hand corner and otherwise shows only modest handling wear. Overall condition is very good The poster is a great addition to any collection, featuring Spain's iconic bullfighting culture.
