This electronically driven automatic blast gate is an optional upgrade to the iVac Pro Wireless Dust Collection Control System, bringing one-touch simplicity to managing your dust collection airflow. This device can be triggered by an iVAC Pro remote, a Pro Tool Plus or a Pro Tool Advantage. Simply turn on your power tool, and the iVAC Pro Tool/iVAC Pro Tool Advantage (sold separately) sends a wireless signal to automatically open the iVAC Pro Blast Gate, and another signal to the iVAC Pro Switch (sold separately), which turns on your dust collector. Turn off your power tool, and after a short interval to clear dust, the blast gate closes and the dust collector powers down. This automation prevents the irritating dust clouds that result from forgetting to open a blast gate, and the reduced suction that results from forgetting to close it afterward.
