VATICAN CITY - POPE JOHN PAUL II Papal Trips This collection of 100 different Papal Trip covers is from the 1979-1981 period. They are in plastic mounts on Lindner Hingeless pre-printed pages. Each cover is identified with the town cancel and described in German but usually reasonably easy to figure out. Amongst the highlights we noted, was the 1979 Poland Souvenir Sheets with Silver Steeples on the Church (scarce) as well as the similar Polish sheet with Gold Steeples.
