This high capacity inline filter is certified for 20,000 gallons and is WQA certified for the reduction of chlorine taste and odors. KDF TECHNOLOGY: This inline chlorine filter uses a KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) Fluid Treatment for filtration. KDF is a high-purity copper-zinc formulation that effectively employs redox (oxidationeduction) to eliminate chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water, such as hydrogen sulfide and chlorine. VERSATILE COMPATIBILITY: This filter works seamlessly with all water supply systems utilizing 1/4" lines, making it ideal for a wide range of residential and commercial applications, including but not limited to refrigerators, ice makers, RVs, campers, coffee makers and tea brewers, water fountains, and water coolers. EASY INSTALLATION: Designed for hassle-free installation, this product comes with one 10" KDF filter with two 1/4" brass connectors/fittings and easily connects to existing plumbing systems. To maintain optimal performance, it should be replaced every 6 months or 20,000 gallons.
