Once that is done the pulley simply slides on and tightens down with the stainless bolts. This makes for a system that is very easy to switch pulleys. Remove 5 bolts with standard allen wrench tool and you can put on a different size pulley. This is perfect for people who want different size pulleys for different occasions from track, street to daily driving or for someone who plans on doing more modifications down the road where they can add a smaller pulley. Smaller pulley equals more boost which equates to additional horsepower and torque. Tuning is definitely recommended. Please do your own research on what size pulley to use for your specific application. Do not just attempt to put on a smaller pulley without figuring out your vehicle can handle. if you do not have the proper tune, the proper fueling and the proper modifications to support the extra boost detonation to your engine will occur.
