8L Recirculating Water Bath from IVYX Scientific This 8 Liters (2 Gallons) versatile, simple to use laboratory water bath is able to quickly and precisely keep samples and experiments at the correct temperature, from room temperature to 100°C in 0.1°C increments. The built in timer allows continuous operation for up to 24 hours. An internal pump continuously recirculates the water, ensuring a uniform, precise temperature of +/- 0.3°C of the set temperature Water from the vessel flows through a small hole at the bottom of the water bath, where it is pumped internally around and up to the side of the vessel. This continuous mixing of water ensures a uniform, precise temperature throughout the water bath. NOTE: To protect the internal pumping mechanism and tubing against extreme heating, the pump automatically shuts off when the temperature reaches 85°C, stopping the water cycling. Large 8L Capacity The large internal chamber has a volume of 8 Liters (2 Gallons), with dimensions of 11x8.5x5.5 in. Simple controls with a 24hr timer Set the desired temperature and time with simple, easy to use controls. A backlit LCD screen clearly displays the current temperature, time, and pump operation. Stainless Steel Body The exterior is constructed of stainless steel. The inner water vessel is made of tough polypropylene, while the heating plate is made of an aluminium alloy with Teflon coating.
