Red Jeweler’S Rouge Polishing Compound, 4 Oz. (U.S. Made) Jewelers rouge was developed by the jewelry trade for buffing soft, precious metals such as gold and silver to a brilliant, high lustrous finish. This extremely fine compound will not scratch or cut away the finest or softest of metals. Weight: 4 Oz. | Size: 4 oz. (4 ⅞” x 1 ⅛” x ⅞”) | Very Fine | Made in the U.S.A. Great for polishing, coloring, and restoring gold, silver, brass, copper, nickel, and pewter - bringing out maximum luster and mirror-like finish. It can also be used on nickel/chrome plates, plastic, pieces with thin layers of plating, and more. This rouge enhances and shines the colors on each metal, and is specially used to polish jewelry, precious metals, appliances, and more. Applied on buffing wheels. To apply, simply spin a buffing wheel on a motor or drill and gently press the compound to the wheel. The heat and friction of the spinning wheel will be enough to transfer a small amount of the compound onto the wheel for polishing.
