A copy of a King Charles II silver original. Bold repousse floral decoration featuring a stag & a bear. Marks: maker mark AP FP AP (Pairpoint Brothers); lion silver mark rubbed; London assay office mark; date letter k for the year 1925. Dimensions: approx 6½ inches dimater. Approximately 9¼ inches across the handles. Weight: approx 23.6 troy oz (734g) The interior is heavily tarnished. A few minor dings & dents but overall lovely condition. Pictures sell! This was an experiment because of the 50% increase from the loathsome tariffs. Because it is an antique, it escaped the tariff. It has to be stated on the Customs Declaration. It worked. I didn't have to go to the post office and haggle. I appreciate the extra effort taken by the seller. It was packed well, arrived perfectly, shipping was reasonable, it is as described and beautiful, and an excellent value. Thank you Squirrelmanor. I love it.
Wonderful mint cased example of this relatively rare award (only 7,370 struck) just as shown in the excellent photos - all at a great price. Extremely well packaged fast safe delivery. A minor issue on shipping was quickly and satisfactorily resolved by the vendor and I have no hesitation in recommending them as one of the best I have dealt with in the last 20 years. 5* many thanks a pleasure to deal with.
Beautiful little inkwell, extremely well packaged, item clearly as described and great value, reasonably priced for a low budget collector.Postage also good and arrived a day earlier than expected.
