Offered for auction is a superb antique late Victorian solid sterling silver half hunter pocket watch hallmarked for London 1899 by J W Benson. The movement engraved ' By Special Warrant to HM The Queen & HRH The Prince of Wales ' A fine example with enamel roman numerals to the front door. The watch is running well but not tested for timekeeping over a long period of time. The bow is a base metal replacement. The watch measures approx. 51 mm wide.
