Sansui Au-D607F Extra Description ■ Product grade The front panel, switches and knobs are in good condition with no scratches. There is a small scratch on the top of the panel. (Repaired and finished) The rear panel input/output pin jack has some darkening from use. There are small scratches on the side of the top cover, but it is shiny and in good condition. Sound output is good ■ Operation confirmation The power-on protector works normally without any abnormalities. The PHONO input was confirmed to work with the AUDIO GENERATOR. The TUNER and AUX were confirmed with an audio signal from a DVD. TONE and switches were confirmed to work. Only the operation of the TAPE PLAY and REC selectors was confirmed. The display units of each part were confirmed to be lit. The audio output is almost well balanced between the R and L channels. There is no scratching on the switches or volume controls. No particular hum or noise was observed. ■ Maintenance points The relay has the cover open and the contacts polished. The rear panel input and output pin jacks have been polished slightly. The volume controls were not disassembled but were cleaned with alcohol and then contact cleaner was used. The input selector and REC selector were disassembled and cleaned with alcohol before being polished with contact grease and used. The VR and switches such as the tone control on the front panel were cleaned with alcohol and then used contact cleaner. DC balance and BIAS have been adjusted. No deterioration of the transistors or C/R components was visible to the naked eye, so they are left as they are original and untouched. Solder cracks on the main board have been visually inspected and checked. The interior has been lightly cleaned.
