Used item in working condition. The AUDIOMATE Mini Hi-Fi Stereo Cassette Player, model MC-1, comes with headphones and is sold in its original box. The item does not include batteries. It has been tested and confirmed to power on using four AA batteries (not included). Please note that I do not have cassette tapes available for audio confirmation. The battery compartment shows signs of rust (see images). This item has been stored long-term. The Styrofoam box has some damage. The black neck strap has white stains from the Styrofoam. The main unit features a hook for attaching a strap, making it portable. The item was safely stored in a closet during the Noto Peninsula earthquake in January 2024, which caused partial damage to my home. I no longer have the energy or desire to use it, so I offer it as an antique collectible. I am selling it to help cover home repair costs. Made in Japan.
