It had red paint at one point. A little is left. There is some small surface rust. Should come clean. The whole vice needs cleaning. The jaws are about 2-1/4" wide. They open up to about 2-1/4". Maybe a b it more. Did not want to turn them any further. Jaws clos e tight. I put a piece of paper in it and it would not come out pulling on it. This screws on to a table/bench. I see no makers markings. Unpacked the vice weighs 3 lbs. 8 oz. Would also be great for a jeweler or gunsmith. MANY THANKS FOR LOOKING and... ….
