This is a PS2 SCPH-30001 (V4). The entire console has been torn down, shell washed, laser CALIBRATED WITH PMAP, laser motor lubricated, boards cleaned, NEW CLOCK BATTERY, and a special wire installation shown on images. Everything is basically refurbished. Games load faster than usual (Booting Burned DVDs might take a while due to age of console and it being a early model of the PS2), and I've tested CD's, and DVD's that work fine aswell as trying out PAL, and US game discs (PS2 and PS1, DVD and CD based) and is region free. It is a region-free console, which means you can play games from any country without any issues. The console also comes with 15 random backup games. THIS CONSOLE IS “REGION FREE” for DVD movies as well. (AS LONG AS THE DVD IS NTSC and NOT PAL). To Change Region code/settings on PS2, Power it on and hold Triangle and Circle.
