.Sony Walkman WM-51 Cassette Player Serviced Tested Beautiful Condition JAPAN JP.[Beautifully maintained, working] Sony Cassette Walkman Sony WM-51 It's a pastel pink claret that is typical of this era. It comes with retractable leader type earphones. There is also an external output so you can connect it to other earphones. It runs on one AA battery. It seems to work with a rechargeable battery, but I don't have one on hand so I haven't tested it. Please use AA batteries when using it. The WM-51, which outputs sound from both the left and right sides, is a very valuable item. The left side of this unit also didn't work, so I used parts from a spare unit to finish it off. Playback, fast forward, rewind, AUTO REVERSE, left/right playback direction switching, Dolby NR, FM.AM, all work perfectly. Rubber belt and pinch roller replaced with new ones I think it turned out really cool. Tested for 1 hour of continuous playback There is no evidence of battery leakage. Disassembly and cleaning of the interior Demagnetize the head using an eraser Cleaning the head, capstan and pinch roller Applying a deterioration recovery agent to the exterior parts We have covered all of the above. This Kakki is filled with mechanical yet sturdy parts that are typical of this era, and are made with luxurious metal parts. The sound quality is sharp, typical of Sony, making it the perfect device for immersing yourself in nostalgia. It is an old item so please judge the condition from the photos. Since these are electronic devices that are over 40 years old, it is possible that they may suddenly malfunction, but I think there are very few that still work. Item arrived perfect and even better than expected. Packaging was very good. Batteries were both excellent and i was able to test the aibo and found it to be in perfect working order. Need to purchase a separate aiboware card so i can run both of my robots at once though. This was a good money value for what i paid. Shipping was fast. Item turned out better than described.
