Up for sale is my slightly working(?) Walkman WM-FX290. At first it wouldn't turn on, but I cleaned the battery spring a tiny bit and now it seems to work. It could probably use a more thorough cleaning, however. Unfortunately, the cassette mechanism doesn't seem to work. It just makes a clicking sound whenever attempting to play/fast forward/rewind. Everything else seems to function, however, but obviously without a functioning cassette deck I'm listing it as for parts. Would ideally be for someone who has familiarity servicing these or doesn't care for the cassette deck. The battery lid that holds the AA is very slightly bent, see pictures. Not sure if that had to do with it not working at first as well.
