Heavy-gauge sterling salt & pepper shaker set for an individual diner's place setting in the Wave Edge pattern of 1884 This rare set is early production having been made 1884-1890 under directorship of Edward Moore (see "M" mark). These are in antique unpolished condition & no monogram removal. Tiffany & Co. designed the shakers distinguishable each from the other by hole size in lids and by foot design so the user knew what each shaker contained. Size 2 1/4 inches tall x 1 1/8 wide Weight 62g (empty of course) Interlocking script "EC" monogram From non-smoking home I insure & pack securely against damage in transit.
