The Scottsdale Museum of The West is currently hosting "Inner Light: The Art of Tom Gilleon," a retrospective featuring 70 paintings, including works on loan from Disney and the debut of "Spirit Catcher," a 22-minute digital painting triptych. Gilleon's art is held in prestigious collections, including the Whitney Western Art Museum, the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, and NASA. He was inducted as a founding member of the C.M. Russell Museum Skull Society of Artists in 2015. His work has achieved record-breaking sales, with "Mourning Star" selling for $350,000 at the C.M. Russell Museum Auction in 2021, and "Dirge With Black Feet" fetching $375,000 at The Autry Museum's Masters of the American West in 2022.
