Description
This vintage 1958 Zenith Transoceanic T-600, featuring a cowhide leather exterior, has been restored. All old tubes have been replaced with high-quality solid-state components, and all capacitors, including filter caps, have been upgraded to Hayseed and Hamphest capacitors. The dial light is powered by a 3V4 tube, which means it lights up when the radio is turned on and stays illuminated while the radio is operating. The original dial light has been removed and repositioned inside the chassis; it now lights up on demand when you push the brown switch to the left, making it easier to see the interior and components. The cabinet has been restored and painted with leather paint. The antenna functions perfectly, and the AM band performs very well. The shortwave bands pick up various stations depending on the time of day or night. Overall, this radio is a true gem for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
