This is a fantastic Vernon Kilns 14” plate! Normal wear few scratches as seen in second pix of you look closely This plate is from the “1860” dinnerware pattern, which shows a view of mid-19th century American life, decorated with richly colored images set against a brown floral backdrop. This plate is a large chop plate, the image shows a town developed by water. There are boats, houses, and a green field in the foreground. This plate measures 14” in diameter. This is very scarce in this large size. The back is marked “1860” with “VERNON’S 1860 HAND PAINTED UNDER GLAZE BY VERNON KILNS CALIFORNIA U.S.A.”e
