Produced by Martin Birch (Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac, Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult, Iron Maiden), the album is the group's first with singer David Coverdale and drummer Ian Paice. Highlights include blues-tinged hit single "Fool For Your Loving" and the soaring "Blindman," with both songs featuring epic guitar solos.
